CDL Prep + Practice Test 2024

2022 Update: CDL Prep & Practice Test is a free app to prepare you for the CDL test. With a regular driving license, you can not drive large or heavy vehicles. A CDL - commercial driver's license is required to drive or operate a vehicle that carries more than 8 passengers, or exceeds gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), or transports hazardous materials. This app contains questions from the actual CDL exam held in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. (1) Class A CDL: Drivers with Class A CDL are authorized to drive any combination of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more if the vehicle you are towing weighs more than 10,000 pounds.
(2) Class B CDL: Drivers with Class B commercial drivers license are authorized to drive any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds+ and any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing not more than 10,000 GVWR.
(3) Class C CDL: Drivers with Class C commercial drivers license are authorized to drive any single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds+ and any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing not more than 10,000 GVWR. Vehicles which are used to transport hazardous materials or the 16-passenger van (including yourself).
